A few years ago the Nebraska Tourism Commission began a partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln hospitality program. Out of this partnership came a group called 3T (Tourism Think Tank). 3T allows hospitality students the opportunity to network and meet professionals in the tourism, restaurant and hotel industries, while providing Nebraska Tourism a set of young and creative minds to establish and carry out projects of their choosing. One of those projects became the Nebraska, two day adventure. From March 14-15 the group will be traveling throughout Nebraska, from Lincoln to Scottsbluff, and places in between to experience what makes it a unique destination. From an early morning viewing of the cranes in the Sandhills, to the top of the Scottsbluff Monument. From a night in the haunted commander’s cabin at Fort Robinson, to the bottom of Smith Falls. From students with none of these experiences at the start, to one’s with all of them at the end. We encourage you to follow along with us, maybe you too will find a reason to take the trip.
